Over the Cliff

While the story of the Pied Piper would seem to be a better analogy for the Election on November 2, 2010, I do not like the idea that the people poised to vote against their and their countries best interest are Rat Like. It is the people in the role fo the Pied Piper - Corporate America - that are the rats.

However a four legged creature still is the best model, the Lemming. The Tea Party people along with a number of independents and a few Democrats are heading for the cliffs. While the legend that Lemmings commit mass suicide is untrue, it is not untrue for the November Elections.

Frustrated with the Economic situation and the dead locked, seemingly broken Congress, the electorate having nowhere to run, seems headed for the cliffs.
